Djurgarden has signed Nino Zugelj, a 24-year-old Slovenian winger, from Norwegian top club Bodø/Glimt. Zugelj joins Djurgarden on a four-year contract. Sports manager Bosse Andersson is pleased with the signing and describes Zugelj as an incredibly exciting and offensively skilled player. Zugelj has previously played for Slovenian Maribor and has also been selected for the Slovenian EM squad 2024. Djurgarden has also signed midfielders Hampus Finndell and Matias Siltanen, as well as defender Mikael Marques, this winter. Zugelj is glad and proud to be joining Djurgarden and is looking forward to getting started. He describes the transfer as a fantastic feeling and is ready to work hard to get in shape and contribute to the team. According to Expressen, the transfer fee is 9.5 million kronor. Zugelj has been clear and straightforward that Djurgarden was the best option for his career right now and he comes with high ambitions. Djurgarden hopes that Zugelj will be able to make a positive impact on the team and help them achieve their goals. Zugelj has already started training with the team and is eager to make his debut.
