Djurgarden arrived at Stora Valla with a dismal record – three consecutive losses – and things didn't start well on Saturday either. At least according to Djurgarden's Daniel Stensson. The midfielder thought the pitch was heavy and the football match was poor. But in the second half, Djurgarden's coach Jani Honkavaara made a substitution that would prove to be a success. Jeppe Okkels came on in the 54th minute and five minutes later scored 1-0 with a distinct finish. It looked like it would be the only goal of the match – but not so. Dijan Vukojevic had other plans and scored the equalizer in the 89th minute. Djurgarden's midfielder Albin Ekdal thought it was a shot that went with millimeter precision between his legs. The final score was 1-1 and Djurgarden thus drops crucial points in the race for European spots. Coach Jani Honkavaara thought it was a fair result but was disappointed. Midfielder Mikael Anderson thought it was a match that Djurgarden should win. Striker August Priske was goalless on Saturday and thought that Djurgarden didn't deserve more than a point. Degerfors coach Henok Goitom thought his team showed great mental strength and deserved the point. Santeri Haarala, who is on loan to Degerfors from Djurgarden, started the game and thought it was fun to play against his former club.
